About the Initiative

At Eternal Virtue, we believe that access to fresh food is a human right – not a bureaucratic hurdle.

Our Community Fridge initiative removes the barriers often found in traditional food systems by creating open-access neighborhood fridges where anyone can take what they need or leave what they can.

There are:

• No applications
• No intake forms
• No proof of need

Just community care in action.

HOW IT WORKS

The Hardware

We procure and deliver the fridge and integrated pantry system, ensuring the equipment is durable and accessible.

The Infrastructure

We assist with building custom weather-proof sheds and pantry structures to protect the fridge year-round.

The Art

Local artists transform each fridge into a vibrant neighborhood landmark that reflects the spirit of the community.

from sponsorship to stewardship

Once a fridge is installed, the community takes ownership.

It becomes a shared neighborhood resource built on mutual aid.
